So just set your settings up when you play the game instead of allowing software to do it for you and make a mess as it has done. Just keep changing all the settings randomly until you find some that give you a nice framerate that your happy with.įor instance lets say we put all the settings in a demanding game to medium and then you put your anti aliasing on to MSAA 4x. it does not matter if you know what settings to change. Well your view distance, textures, clouds, shadows and anti aliasing are the most demanding settings to mess with. They aren't as simple as they used to be back in the day. That's the problem, I don't know which settings to keep at what levels for best performance/quality. Once it starts lagging lower certain settings until you eventually find the best settings for the performance and quality balence.
